Printable Math Worksheets and the Super Bowl

Teachers: Super Neat Idea - Use the Super Bowl to Motivate Students!

Here is a fun activity to integrate the Super Bowl and math. Everyone knows that Super Bowl is outrageously expensive. Why not estimate how expensive it is?

Grab a computer room and break your students into 3 groups. You are going to try to estimate how much the Television network that televises the game makes. Most of the advertising costs are now openly discussed and can be found with a simple web search. You can take it even a step further and look at how much the NFL makes from the game. When you look at all the ways they take in considerations, it's amazing! This can quickly become a week long project.
