Does Coloring Help Teach Children Patience?

We have a growing discussion on our blog on this topic. Many teachers, yours included, see coloring as a pre-writing activity that is pivotal to help developing writers. Many standards advisors are now looking to implement coloring into National Standards. Research is currently being done at three major universities to track the writing progress of students who regularly color versus those who do not.

What do you think? Is coloring an important part of education? Let us know on our web site comments section.
