Teaching Tip: Getting To Know Students

If you follow students to the next grade level and teach them for a second year, do not assume that in September they will be the same students who left in June. Students can grow and change rapidly in the three months they are on summer break. Start the new year getting to know them all over again. Try using some of our getting to know you worksheets.
