But maybe I could have explained things better. To the question "What portion of a foot is six inches?"

You Have To See These Pictures...

We just wanted to share some fun pictures that teachers from all over the world have sent into us this year. It all started with a little Kenny (the son of one of our writers). You have to see little Kenny. He is just under a year old and spelling huge words already.

A few days later Diane from New Hampshire sent us a picture of what she found in the parking lot this week. A few weeks ago Mrs. Beemer's third grade send us another photo of fun this time in the sun. And then we found this on the beach during Spring break.

Teachers: How to Make a Math Test More Valuable?

Have students re-work math problems they miss on tests. They should write one or two sentences explaining what they did wrong next to the correct answer. This will help them analyze where they made their mistake so, they are less likely to repeat it.
