Teaching Tip: A Fun Getting To Know You Activity

Get to know your high school students by having them answer a question. Have everyone choose two Lifesavers from a basket you pass around. Tell them they can eat one of the candies. After they have all put the candy in their mouth, show them a chart that has questions corresponding to the candy's colors. Whatever color is left on their desk is the type of question they have to answer. Examples of questions could be red = a plan for after you graduate, orange = an embarrassing moment, green = favorite memory.
