Teacher Resources For Your Week Teaching Tip: Difficult Behaviors By: Teachnology Staff If you have students that have exceptionally challenging behavior problems, use a behavior chart that they have to carry around with them. Laminate a list of all the expected behaviors and put it and a sheet listing all the students subjects and specials on a clipboard. Each teacher must initial the sheet and make a note of any positive or negative behaviors. At the end of the day, the sheet can be put in a behavior notebook and sent home for the parents to see. The laminated list provides a visual reminder of the expected behaviors and the sheet helps students be accountable for their behavior.
